Porridge with chiaseeds and coconutmilk!

I want to write some recipes for my followers outside Norway, and porridge made of chiaseeds are one of mye favorites for breakfast. Chiaseeds are very healthy, and it also gives the body omega 3. That is very important, because we often eat too much omega6 and to little omega 3. You will get two recipes from me, one with strawberries and one with chocolate flavour. The one with chocolate I will recommend as a treat once in a while. The one with berries, I use very often. I get a lot of good energy from this meal, you should try it. 

Porridge with chiaseeds and strawberries!

  • 2 dl of organic coconutmilk
  • 2-3 tablespoons of organic chiaseeds
  • 100 grams of strawberries  or other berries you prefer
  • A little bit of stevia or erythritol for sweetener if you feel you have to

Mix together coconut milk and chia seeds at eveningtime. Beat slightly with a fork for a few minutes , set it cold in the refrigerator overnight. The reason that you need to whip a bit before cooling, is that chia seeds otherwise clump very easily.

Bring out the porridge in the morning , whip it up. Chiaseedds syntheses pretty much overnight , due to the high fiber content . So do not worry if it looks thin in the evening. Add the berries, and season to taste with sweetener if you feel you need it. Vips the breakfast is ready in 1-2-3 ❤

  • 2-3 tablespoons of organic chiaseeds
  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder, raw organic if you have
  • A little bit of stevia or erythritol for sweetener if you feel you have to
  • You can also rasp a bit of dark chocolate over for example 86% chocolate

Mix together coconut milk, cocoa powder and chia seeds at eveningtime. Beat slightly with a fork for a few minutes , set it cold in the refrigerator overnight. The reason that you need to whip a bit before cooling, is that chia seeds otherwise clump very easily.

So do not worry if it looks thin in the evening.  Add some sweetener if you feel you need it, you probably will. Rasp dark chocolate over if you want to. Vips the breakfast is ready in 1-2-3 ❤
